A letter to the upcoming future scientists
When I was a freshman in college, I thought I knew everything is happening around me because I was determined and thought I knew the entire world. Throughout the first couple years of college, I didn’t have anyone to guide me down the route that would lead me to finish college more effectively. So now I am going to offer a few tips on what you should expect when you are entering college. I learned a lot throughout my college career, and as I discovered, I began to focus more productive things. Opportunities don’t come often. First, you need to able to distinguish opportunities and utilize the resources around you. Second, reach out and build a strong relationship with others. Third, Do not burn bridges, sometimes the people you met might come in handy in the future. When I was a freshman, I didn’t want to pose any questions. I was afraid I'd be seen as stupid. One important thing, I have learned in the course of my college career is always to speak up and ask if you don’t understand. No one is responsible for your education unless you care for yourself.
