Integrating Passions

People often associate scientists with a singular focus, but like everyone else we have a host of interests and hobbies outside of our research. One of these is baking, which has recently gotten more popular thanks to individuals like Dr. Ahna Skop who post about their creations. Dr. Diana Chu and I attempted to mimic these creations with our own, so I created "yeast cakes", which are supposed to represent budding and fission yeast with fluorescing vacuoles.
